DE Fastlink has made tremendous progress in expanding its high-speed internet service to Dixie Electric members. In February, the Dixie Electric board of directors voted to expand DE Fastlink to the entire system, and a construction plan for fiber deployment was created.
DE Fastlink has an aggressive schedule of target dates for the remainder of this year. Please keep in mind that these target dates are when DE Fastlink expects to begin installations in an area; it will take time to reach every home that has completed the sign-up process. In-home installations are the most time-consuming phase in our seven-step construction process. Due to the tremendous amount of interest in DE Fastlink, each eligible area will take weeks, if not months, to complete.
